   If you are in Europe do not bother purchasing anything from Amazon . com. They have no service back up for Europe, are not prepared to offer any help whatsoever.
   
   If you receive the wrong product they are not prepared to take it back.
   
   There is no follow up.
   
   I ordered one Toshiba top of the range DVD player which does not work, and one book which has not arrived after 2 months.
   
   I shall not be purchasing anything further from this Amazon on line service.
   
   Maybe the financial crash has affected Amazon.
   
   What a great shame.

   Monitor is extremely difficult to use — buttons are too deeply recessed and beam too narrowly focussed. Record/playback quality is borderline acceptable.

   brand new from the box, the vcr doesn’t play and now is holding one of my irreplacable cassette hostage!

   I have yet to get a VHS to DVD copied/dubbed. I am sure the copy from digital video to DVD will work fine, but if you want it do copy VHS to DVD – then you may want to look at another unit.
